The ETA calculation is one of Shippeo's main features. It is why Shippeo tries to collect as much data as possible to calculate an accurate and reliable ETA.

More than 200 factors are taken into account when calculating Shippeo's ETA, among which we can find the drivers' past activity, the itinerary, the positions, the remaining distance and time, etc.

Shieppeo's y ETA externa

Not only do we display Shippeo's ETA. You also have the option to send your own ETA via EDI. When doing so, Shippeo will display both ETA's, Shippeo's, and the one you sent in your order overview, orders details, tour overview, and the Global Map.

Shippeo will prioritize the External ETA. The external ETA will be displayed on the order overview and in the order details view. Still, you will see both ETA indications when you hover over it. If the external ETA is not available, Shippeo's ETA will be displayed.

ETA externa

An External ETA is the estimated arrival time that a carrier communicates to us via EDI on a loading or delivery stop, based on factors known to the carrier. When entering an external ETA, the carrier doesn't need to give a specific reason for a delay or early arrival estimate.

An external ETA is in no way related to the ETA calculated by Shippeo
