To create/update the ePOD, you need the Shippeo mobile application. Click here to know how to download it.

How is the PDF created/updated?

The ePOD document is created when the driver is paired to a Tour created by the Shipper's organization with the ePOD feature activated. Once paired, the first part of the document will be filled with all the information from the Tour:

  • Document identification section
  • Carrier Section
  • Client (Shipper) section
  • Driver & Vehicle Section
  • Merchandise Section

Afterward, the driver must update the document twice by completing the Loading (1) and Delivering Site (2) section tasks within the Mobile application.

Adding the Tour and Stop Overview

  1. Open the Shippeo Application and log in using your driver account.
  2. Insert the tour reference (The carrier operator should provide the driver with the tour reference).
  3. The tour details should appear on the "Tour" tab inside the Mobile App; click on it.
    • The "Stop Overview" should appear, indicating the Tour's number of stops (loading/delivering sites).

  2. Click on "Validate the freight" to access the List of actions.
    • Inside the List of actions, the driver will find all the tasks (selected by the carrier) he has to perform to finalize the Loading.
      • By default, a minimum of 2 actions are required, but the carrier determines the number of actions.

Triger position manually

If the truck is being tracked, the mobile application will automatically detect the driver's position and trigger the statuses (on site/left site). If not, the driver can manually trigger these positions by clicking on the "On site" or "Left Site" buttons, depending on the location.
