If your resources are not already equipped with a Telematics / Board Computer system, Shippeo offers the option to share shipment status and location data using our Mobile Application.


Shippeo Mobile App

The Shippeo mobile application benefits shippers and carriers in a few ways. 

  • Shippers are provided with real-time tracking of a resource/shipment’s location
  • Drivers have an all-in-one digital solution to allow them to both provide real-time traceability and save time on time-consuming manual/paper-based tasks related to the shipment.

Here are some of the main advantages:

  • GPS locations are captured even outside of mobile network coverage, improving tracking data quality.
  • Handling units can be registered more easily with a built-in barcode scanner for LTL level traceability
  • Drivers can log issues they experience along with their tours.
  • The new mobile app is more flexible to suit different use cases and organizational processes.
  • A pallet’s last known location can be tracked, allowing asset rotation to be optimized with better visibility of pallets and other resources.

Download App

The mobile app is only available on Android devices and can be downloaded by searching for "Shippeo for drivers" on the Google Play Store:

Access Rights and (Privacy) Settings

Our Shippeo Mobile app requires the following access rights to be approved in order for it to run smoothly:

  • Location Services / GPS Tracking: You must enable location services for the app to track positions.
  • Camera Access: The Shippeo mobile app lets you take pictures of goods or PODs that will automatically be added to the order on the web platform.
  • Files Access: This allows users to upload files from their mobile device into Shippeo's mobile app.
  • Make and Manage Phone calls: This setting is optional.

Additionally, the application needs to have an internet connection to work and send Shippeo updates. We suggest mobile data connectivity is active throughout the entire journey.


Creating an Account

If you already have an account on the previous app version, the same credentials can be used to access your mobile account on Shippeo's application.


The mobile app allows drivers to create their own accounts. To do so, please follow the following steps:

  1. Tap on "Create Account"
  2. Fill out all the fields with their corresponding information, paying particular attention to the mobile phone number as a confirmation code will be sent.
    For the phone number, it is not necessary to start with 0.
  3. Tap on "Create Account"



Log In

Once your account has been created, there are two ways of logging in: via an SMS code or by using your account credentials.


Log in via SMS

  1. Tap on "Receiving a code by SMS"
  2. Enter the phone number used during account creation.
  3. Tap on "Send me the code". You will receive an SMS code shortly afterward. 
  4. Enter the code and await verification.


You should now be logged into your account.


Logging in using account credentials

  1. Click on "Using your password"
  2. Fill out the fields with your username and password.
  3. Click on "Login to your account"


You should now be logged into your account.
