Configuration of Phone settings to optimise Shippeo Driver app

This article covers all the best practices for configuring GPS settings to ensure accurate tracking on the Mobile App V3.

 

As mentioned in this article, you may encounter alerts from the app when conditions aren't optimal. In such cases, the app will automatically detect device settings that could interfere with tracking. A "Fix it" button will guide you to the necessary configurations.

 

Power saving issue

1. Click on Fix it in the yellow banner. 

2. The app will redirect to the Power mode page. Make sure:

• High performance or Optimized is selected. 
• Adaptive power saving is turned off

 

App notifications issue

1. Click on Fix it in the yellow banner. 

2. The app will redirect to the App info page. Tap on Notifications

3. Enable Show notifications 

 

Location issues

1. Click on Fix it in the yellow banner

2. The app will redirect to the App info page. Tap on Permissions

3. Tap Location

4. Select Allow all the time
