What is a Cookie?

A Cookie is a small file stored by a server in the terminal (computer, telephone, etc.) of a user and associated with a web domain. This file is automatically sent back when the user contacts the same domain again.

Cookies have multiple uses: they can be used to memorize your customer ID with a merchant site, the language in which the web page is displayed, an identifier that allows us to track your navigation for statistical or advertising purposes, etc. Some of these uses are strictly necessary for the functionalities expressly requested by the user or for the establishment of the communication and are therefore exempt from consent. Others, which do not correspond to these criteria, require the user's consent before reading or writing.

At Shippeo, when you use our platform, information about your browsing and the type of device you use (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) may be recorded using Cookies. The scope of these recording operations depends on Cookies parameters you choose when using our platform.

The information about you contained in the Cookies we use may be transferred to specific subcontractors we work with when it is necessary for proper provision of our services. We do not transmit this data to other third parties.

Which Cookies are used by Shippeo and for what purposes?

When you use our platform and the Shippeo services, we and, as the case may be, the subcontractors acting on our behalf, may be required, subject to your choice, to install various Cookies in your terminal, allowing us to recognize the browser of your terminal during the period of validity of the relevant cookie.

The Cookies we issue are used for the purposes described below, subject to the choices you have made about Cookies that you may change at any time.
